Teddykompaniet strives to conduct all of our business in accordance to our own ethical guidelines when it comes to social responsibilities, environmental policies and safety rules. These key factors have always been the company’s priority as we are in the market of producing products for families, and especially for children.

All of our products shall continue to have a unique design as well as be produced of carefully selected materials of highest quality. They also have to comply with the safety standards according to EN71.

Saftey

We demand the highest standards of our suppliers to ensure that they manufacture products of the highest quality, so that the product not only lasts for many years but also complies with all regulations and legislation.

You can always rest assured when you give one of our products to a child.

All of our products have been tested according to current safety standards in both Sweden and Europe and comply with CE according to EN71 regulations, which means that they are:

Child safe – eyes, noses and other plastic parts are tested to withstand being pulled out, with seams tested for strength and stitching.

Flame and fire resistant – the products will not catch fire and the material is flame resistant.

Non-Toxic – the colour dyes we use are non-toxic and all plastic parts have a non-toxic base.

Most of our products are machine washable to 40°C , with the exception of some music boxes and products with batteries. Please read the label or contact us if you are unsure.

Ethics

The factories that we work with must also fulfill the demands that we have set. Please note the Teddykompaniets Code of Conducts.

All of the employees at Teddykompaniet continue to work together to build strong customer relationships and are also to be responsible for continually improving the organisation as well as our impact on the environment.

A close collaboration with our customers and other leading branch organisations within each respective branch, and to always be sensitive to the markets needs and demands.

The amount of suppliers is limited which means that we reduce environmental damage.

Controls are continually made in the factories, quality controls of materials and spot checks of the production line are executed by our purchasers.
